Profile
I am a mathematical biologist and a bioinformatics researcher in the pharmaceutical industry. I received my Ph.D. in Life Science from Hokkaido University in March 2025.
Expertise
My work combines mathematical modeling, statistical inference and time-series analysis to understand biological dynamics. In pharmaceutical research, my main interest is pharmacometrics: connecting quantitative models with drug response and biological variability. Systems biology provides a complementary perspective.
Mathematical modeling
Dynamical systems, differential equations and models of biological response. I am interested in how model assumptions shape predictions and what data are needed to distinguish competing explanations.
Inference and time-series analysis
Parameter estimation, uncertainty, model evaluation and interaction inference from time-series data, including CCM (Convergent Cross Mapping) and compositional data analysis.
Computational biology
Combining biological data with mechanistic models and reproducible analysis. My published work includes growth dynamics, responses to antibiotics and community dynamics.
